What size is the storage room?

What size van will be provided?
We will provide a Luton Van, each with a driver and one helper. This van size is adequate to transport items that will fit into the 100 sq foot storage space. If you believe your items are larger and are unsure of the space required please contact us to ensure the right van size is allocated for your collection (additional charges will apply).

How do I know if the storage space will be sufficient?
Once booked our team will contact you before your collection date to confirm the approx items you wish to store. This is to ensure that the collection vehicle and storage space is sufficient. If you require additional space this will be discussed before your collection takes place.
What is the minimum length of stay?
Minimum length of stay is 3 months. Payment is 4 weekly and in advance.
Do my items have to be stored in boxes?
No. Any items can be stored in your allocated storage space. We will take no liability for damage of items if insufficiently packaged.
Can we select the payment date?
No. The payment date will be dependent on the date your items are collected. Then it will be every 4 weeks from this date moving forward.
Can I pay weekly/monthly?
No. We only accept payments every 4 weeks. Alternatively, you can pay in advance for longer and if paying for over 6 months can benefit from our Pre-payment discount. Speak to our UK based Customer Support Team for details on this offer.
Do I have to bring everything down to the ground floor for collection?
Not at all. Our teams will come right up to your door and begin loading the items from wherever you have left them. With your redelivery, our teams will deliver the items straight into your property.

Your stuff will be kept safe and monitored 24/7 by CCTV in a secure storage facility. The safety of your stuff is our greatest priority which is why we work with best-in-class partners with decades of experience.
Can I visit the storage warehouse?
Generally speaking, no. This is due to the security measures we have in place. If you really do need to come to the facility yourself or want to arrange for a third-party removal company to take your items, send us an email to support@pinglocker.com to arrange this. Please note, we need one week’s notice to arrange this for you.

Is there anything you can't store?
We will store just about anything. For safety and item coverage reasons we can’t accept the following;
- Food, perishable goods including sauces. E.g. Soy Sauce and Ketchup
- Birds, fish, animals or any other living creature;
- Explosives, weapons or ammunition;
- Any item which emits fumes, smell or odour;
- Any illegal substances or goods illegally obtained;
- Combustible or flammable materials, liquids or compressed gases, including but not limited to: paint, diesel, petrol, oil, gas, alcohol, artificial fertiliser or cleaning solvents;
- Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents;
- Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a dangerous nature;
- Any other toxic, flammable or hazardous substance or preparations, classified as such under applicable law;
- Knives and sharp objects not suitably sleeved and wrapped.
The items on this list are forbidden. This is to ensure yours and other customers items are kept safely and securely while they are with us. If we find you are storing any of the items on this list they will be removed and disposed of, and the rest of your boxes may be searched for further forbidden items. A fee of £60 will be charged for each box containing prohibited items, as well as disposal fees in some cases.
Terms & Conditions
- All our vans are equipped with trolleys, blankets, straps, bungee cords, tracking, and are only to be used for household moving content. We do not provide a rubbish clearance service.
- The price provided is based on the storage space and van size as advertised, we will call you prior to the collection to ensure your items will fit. If a larger space/van is required we will provide a quotation for this upgrade. Only once approved will you be charged.
- We will provide an estimated collection window to you, but this is not a confirmed exact time and should only be used as an indication.
- If you need any help with packing your belongings or protecting your furniture including any help with dismantling items we can provide these service at an additional cost.
- If you need packaging materials you can easily order them online and we will deliver them typically within 24-48 hours (Monday to Friday).
- When packing please do not overload boxes and make the weight not heavier than 20-25kg.
- If there is no lift/elevator in operating, we charge for flooring £10 per level per person, so please let us know if there are any access issues. Please note that we provide our service up to the fourth floor only if there is no lift in operation.
- Our Goods in Transit insurance covers up to £10,000. Insurance will only apply if there is an inventory list signed during the collection.
If you notice any damage, please report to our team before they leave, so they can make evidence of damage for insurance purposes. - Please note that if our team leave the side and no damage has been reported we will not take any responsibilities for unreported damages.
- If you don’t require packing service please make sure to protect all furniture to avoid any damage as our insurer will not cover any damage during the transit for unprotected items.

- If you need to amend the collection date make sure to inform us in writing at least 72 hours prior to your collection otherwise a rebooking fee may apply (rebooking fee £100).
